Premium Karate for Kids & Taekwondo in Raleigh, NC.

I started martial arts because my brother was beaten up at school. Our father sent both of us to train
My brother quit. I earned my black belt, went to the same school, and never had to fight. Not because I could. Because I didn’t need to.
That’s the founding truth of every school I’ve built. The real benefit of martial arts has nothing to do with fighting. It’s becoming someone who doesn’t need to.
I went on to build the world’s largest standalone martial arts business. And then I built this one. Not to be the biggest again, but to do something most schools won’t even attempt: develop every student who walks through the door, regardless of where they start.
When I opened this school in 2009, I made one commitment: that no child’s potential would be wasted here.
Nine locations and thousands of families later, that’s still the only thing we measure ourselves by.

Character Is
Our Curriculum.
Every week, one life skill... named, taught, practiced, and taken home. Not hoped for. Not assumed. Taught.
Your Child Gets a Coach,
Not a Class.
Never more than 10 students per instructor. Your child’s coach knows their name, their struggles, and what they’re working on this month.
Our Instructors Are Held to
the Same Standard.
Every six months, every instructor tests... martial arts proficiency, character goals, physical conditioning. The adults are held to it too.
Taekwondo is the foundation of everything we do. But we don’t believe honoring the art means freezing it in place.
We used to only teach Olympic Taekwondo. We changed because our students deserved more.Today, our curriculum evolves because the kids who walk through our doors deserve training that meets them where they are... not where the textbook says they should be.
That’s what it means to honor the art by making it better.
